Introduction:

Kalindi College is known for its education system creating new millennium intellect among its students, is the prime aim of this establishment. It serves to the female population of the country and has it motto to educate women to create empowered and strong citizens of the nation, hence making it a girl's college. It was established in 1967 by Delhi Administration as a constituent college of University of Delhi. The philosophy of the college is to enhance education system meeting the demands of modern times and imparting fuller capabilities to the students in these contemporary times. It equally compliments the intellectual zeal and vigor of its disciples.

Location:

This college is situated near East Patel Nagar. It falls in one of the modern districts of Delhi, making it well connected and easy to reach. It falls near the Metro route and can be commuted by road ways conveniently. The exact address is; East Patel Nagar, New Delhi-110008. The governing person of this institute is Dr. Sita Kaushik.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

It has one the most phenomenal library, with approximately 61,000 books is vested in best interest of the students. It also provides 55 different journals and has 8 different news paper facilities. The laboratories are always spic and span located in the science block of the college. They have different labs in various fields like, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. There is one tennis room for the tennis lovers to practice the game on daily basis. The Gandhi Study Center is one of the great achievements of the college which insures to teach as well as cultivate sense of responsibility and pride in the people of new generation towards their "Father of The Nation" and the struggle which this country has lived through. Here the symposiums were organized with topics like, "Relevance of Gandhi's Ideas in Contemporary India" with other seminars too. The college's NCC and NSS societies are on of the best. they annually organizes camping trips and Blood Donation Camps, which says a lot about the values this college is helping to build in the students making their mind and body sound for a great working of the future. This college has several cultural societies and annual college magazine as well. The hostel facility is not offered here.

Admission Procedures:

NOTE: For OBC categories and their candidates, the college has a relaxation of 2% in all courses, in above mentioned list.
Another term to be considered is, if the seats are filled in the first cut off list then there is no edge for taking admissions further. Therefore college will not issue any other cut off lists for admissions.
There will be a compulsory orientation day of all the students on 16th of July. Students are requested to attend it at 10: am in college
During admission process all candidates seeking admission are required to bring their class XTH and XII mark sheets with two pass port size non-attested photographs. Also character and migration certificate from last institution attended is vitally needed.

Placement Data:

This college provides placement cell and organizes work shops and personality development events with talks delivered by the experts. It also teaches the new concept and latest trends of the industry which helps students to brush up their skills and knowledge to work efficiently. The interviews are conducted on the college ground and students are selected to be recruited from here only.
